OUR FIRM
Most ESOP advisory firms concentrate their efforts on larger companies, those with 200 or more employees and sales of more than $25 million. In contrast, we specialize on the smaller end of the middle market. We believe this end of the spectrum has been underserved by the ESOP community, although smaller companies can be very viable ESOP candidates. Our ideal ESOP clients share the following characteristics.
-    Annual sales of at least $5 million
-    Annual cash flow of at least $1,000,000
-    At least 20 full time employees
These are simply guidelines, and companies not meeting them will be considered on an individual basis. Our selection criterion also focuses on the business owner hoping to leave a legacy and on those wanting to reward company employees. Through an ESOP sale, the company will maintain its name and character long after the founder steps down. Likewise, ESOPs provide a way for the business seller to reward the company's valued employees by sharing ownership.
